Apricot Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. nuts, ground
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 c. cake flour
    1 (12 oz.) can pie filling (apricot)
Preparation
    Cream butter; add sugar and vanilla.
    Mix well.
    Add eggs to mixture one at a time.
    Add cake flour and nuts.
    Mix well.
    Place 3/4 of batter into ungreased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
    Cover with pie filling.
    Cover filling with remaining batter.
    Cook in preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 45 minutes.
    Cool before serving.
