Ripe Tomato Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. ripe tomatoes
    1 stalk celery
    10 bell peppers
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. turmeric
    1 tsp. ginger
    1 qt. onions
    1 gal. cabbage
    1/2 gal. white vinegar
    1 tsp. cloves
    6 c. sugar
    1 tsp. dry mustard
Preparation
    Coarsely
    chop
    tomatoes,
    onions,
    celery, cabbage and pepper. Cover with
    1
    cup salt; let stand for 2 hours. Drain. Then add rest
    of ingredients. Boil slowly for 1 hour. Seal in jars.
    Makes 10 pints.
