Penuche Frosted Banana Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. margarine
    2 eggs
    2 mashed ripe bananas
    8 oz. sour cream
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Mix flour, baking powder, soda and 1/4 teaspoon salt in medium bowl and set aside.
    In large bowl, combine sugar and 1/2 cup margarine.
    Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, 2 to 3 minutes.
    Add bananas, sour cream and vanilla.
    Continue beating 1 minute.
    Continue beating, gradually adding flour mixture, for 1 minute.
    By hand, stir in 1/2 cup walnuts.
    Pour batter into greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake for 40 to 50 minutes.
    Cool.
