Walnut Duxelles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 Tbsp. butter
    4 c. chopped mushrooms
    1/2 c. green onions
    1/4 tsp. thyme
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. sherry
    8 oz. cream cheese
    1 c. finely chopped walnuts
    dash of Tabasco sauce
Preparation
    Saute mushrooms in butter with green onions and thyme.
    Add salt and sherry. Cook until liquid has almost evaporated, about 8 minutes.
    Let cool a little. Add cream cheese, walnuts and Tabasco sauce.
    Mix well. Chill overnight, covered. Garnish with parsley. Serve with Wheat Thins.
