Ice Cream Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 ice cream sandwich bars
    1 large carton Cool Whip
    16 oz. cream cheese
    chopped nuts
    chopped cherries
Preparation
    Mix cream cheese and Cool Whip together.
    Layer ice cream sandwiches and Cool Whip.
    Sprinkle nuts.
    Make a second layer. In a pot, mix 1 cup sugar, 3 tablespoons chocolate and 1/4 cup milk.
    Bring to a boil.
    Add 1/2 stick of butter or margarine. Spoon this over top of Cool Whip.
    Cover and freeze overnight.
