Alabama Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. corn meal
1 c. all-purpose flour
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. onions, finely chopped
4 tsp. baking powder
4 tsp. granulated sugar
milk
hot oil

Preparation

Mix all ingredients together with enough milk to make mixture paste-like.
Drop by teaspoonfuls into hot grease.
Yields 12 servings.
