Pickle Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 c. chopped, unpeeled cucumbers
    1 c. chopped onions
    1 c. chopped green peppers
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 chopped red pepper (for color)
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. white vinegar
    1 tsp. mustard seed
    1 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Mix well the first 6 ingredients.
    Let stand for 1/2 hour. Drain off salt and water.
    Mix sugar, white vinegar, mustard seed and celery seed.
    Pour over chopped ingredients.
    Refrigerate. Let stand 7 to 10 days before eating.
    Keeps very well.
