Salsa Dip - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. cooked tomatoes (whole or pieces)
    1 small can green chilies, chopped
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
    1/2 tsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. ground cumin
    1/8 tsp. garlic powder
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients in saucepan.
    Bring to a boil, then cover and simmer 10 to 15 minutes.
    Cool and refrigerate before serving.
    Great sauce for Mexican dishes or a favorite with chips.
