Custard Rhubarb Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. (1/4-inch slices) rhubarb
    1 1/3 c. sugar
    1/4 c. butter
    4 eggs
    1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Put rhubarb in a dish; sprinkle with 1/2 cup sugar.
    Melt butter.
    Beat eggs.
    Add remaining sugar and milk.
    Arrange rhubarb on pie crust.
    Dribble butter over rhubarb.
    Add egg mixture.
    Cover with lattice strips of crust.
    Bake until knife test proves done, at 350\u00b0.
