Christmas Scent - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 (4-inch) sticks cinnamon
    3 bay leaves
    1/4 c. whole cloves
    1/2 lemon, cut in half
    1/2 orange, halved
    1 qt. water
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients in a kettle or saucepan.
    Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer as long as needed.
    Check often and add water, as needed.
    Store in refrigerator and re-use.
