Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. self-rising flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/3 c. shortening
    1 c. buttermilk (skim milk may be used)
Preparation
    Cut shortening into flour and baking powder; add milk.
    I mix with a spoon.
    Turn onto a floured board and roll into 1/2-inch thickness.
    Cut biscuits.
    Place on cookie sheet.
    Melt 1 teaspoon oleo and spread on top of each biscuit.
    Cook about 10 to 12 minutes in 450\u00b0 oven.
