Coffee Sponge Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. boiling water
    1 Tbsp. coffee
    2 c. sifted cake flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    6 eggs
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine boiling water and coffee.
    Add cold water to make 1 cup.
    Sift cake flour, baking powder and salt; set aside. Separate eggs.
    Place whites in a deep bowl and add cream of tartar.
    Beat until stiff, but not dry.
    Gradually add 1/2 cup sugar in beaten egg whites.
    Continue to beat until whites stand in peaks.
    Place yolks in large bowl and beat gradually.
    Add 1 1/2 cups sugar and vanilla.
    Beat until very thick.
    Alternately with cooled coffee liquid, fold egg yolks and flour mixture, 1/4 at a time, into beaten whites.
    Put in a 10-inch tube pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
