Scalloped Oysters - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pt. oysters
1 to 2 c. cracker crumbs
3/4 c. melted butter
1/2 to 1 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
dash of nutmeg
3/4 c. half and half
1 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
dash of black pepper
1/4 c. oyster liquor
Preparation

Drain liquor from oysters and reserve.
Mix crumbs and melted butter; toss until all crumbs are well buttered.
Grease casserole and line bottom with 1/3 of the crumbs.
Add half of the oysters. Sprinkle lightly with nutmeg and fresh ground pepper.
Repeat crumb and oyster layers; season.
