The Best Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter, melted
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. nuts, chopped (optional)
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. cocoa
Preparation
    Blend butter, sugar
    and vanilla in a mixing bowl.
    Add eggs and beat well with a spoon.
    Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt.
    Gradually
    add
    to
    egg\tmixture
    until well blended. Stir in nuts.
    Spread
    in
    greased pan and bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from edges of pan.
    Frost if desired.\tCut into squares.
