Appleless Apple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 c. water
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    25 plain Ritz crackers
    9-inch pie crust, raw
Preparation
    Boil the water with sugar and cream of tartar.
    When water comes to a boil, remove from heat.
    Put in crackers.
    Let stand 2 minutes.
    Put in unbaked pie shell.
    Add cinnamon and butter.
    Bake 25 minutes at 425\u00b0.
