Fat-Free Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

no stick cooking spray
1 1/4 c. flour
1/2 c. unsweetened cocoa
1/4 c. cornstarch
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. sugar
1 c. water
3 egg whites
1/2 c. Karo light or dark corn syrup
confectioners sugar (optional)
Preparation

Spray a 9-inch square baking pan with cooking spray.
In a large bowl, combine next 6 ingredients.
In medium bowl, stir sugar and water until sugar is almost dissolved.
Add egg whites and corn syrup.
Stir until blended.
Gradually add to dry ingredients, stirring until smooth.
Pour into prepared pan.
Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 35 minutes until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool in pan on wire rack.
If desired, sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
Makes 16 servings.
