Emma'S Green Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. frozen green beans
    1/2 red pepper pod
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Put in deep kettle.
    Add enough water to barely cover beans. Bring to boil.
    Cook slow until beans are tender.
    Drain water off beans and add about 1 cup of meat grease.
    Let cook down slowly. Add more salt if needed.
