Oatmeal Caramelites - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1 c. quick oats
    3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1/2 Tbsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. melted butter
    1 c. (6 oz.) chocolate chips
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    3/4 c. caramel ice cream topping
    3 Tbsp. flour
Preparation
    In a large mixing bowl combine flour, oats, brown sugar, soda, salt and melted butter.
    Blend at low speed to form crumbs.
    Press 1/2 of mixture into bottom of 11 x 7-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
    Remove from oven.
    Sprinkle with chips and nuts; blend topping with flour and pour over chips and nuts to cover. Sprinkle with remaining crumbs.
    Continue baking for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.
    Chill.
