Divinity Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    1/2 c. water
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 egg whites
    1/2 c. walnuts or coconut (optional)
    1 small pkg. chocolate pudding mix
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    1/4 c. warm water
    2 c. sifted confectioners sugar
    1/4 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Combine pudding mix, margarine and water in a saucepan.
    Bring just to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat.
    Quickly stir in sugar, blending well.
    Add nuts.
    Pour into oiled pan (8 x 4-inch loaf pan).
    Chill, then cut into squares.
