Roasted Balsamic Onions - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large onions with root end on
    1/4 c. Balsamic vinegar
    1 tsp. dried thyme
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. olive oil
    1/2 tsp. dried basil
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Peel 4 large onions.
    Leave root end on.
    Cut into 6 sections; do not cut all the way through. Put in greased baking dish.
    Cover with vinegar, olive oil, thyme, basil salt and pepper mixture.
    Cover, bake 450\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
    Uncover, bake for 45 minutes.
    Serves 4.
