Cheese Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. diced potatoes
    1/2 c. diced carrot
    1/2 c. diced celery
    1/2 c. diced onion
    1/2 c. diced green pepper
    4 Tbsp. butter
    1 Tbsp. parsley
    3 c. chicken broth
    2 c. milk
    dash of white pepper
    1/2 c. flour
    3 c. shredded sharp process American cheese
Preparation
    In Dutch oven, cook vegetables until tender in butter and water.
    Add chicken broth; mix milk and flour.
    Add cheese. Simmer.
