Carrot And Corn Meal Spice Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. Crisco
    3/4 c. chopped pecans
    1 1/4 c. brown sugar
    3/4 c. melted butter
    4 eggs
    1 3/4 c. flour
    3/4 c. corn meal
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. allspice
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    2 1/2 c. shredded carrots
    3/4 c. raisins
Preparation
    Grease 12-cup Bundt pan.
    Coat pan with nuts.
    In mixing bowl, combine sugar and butter.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Stir in combined flour, corn meal, baking powder, salt and spices.
    Add carrots and raisins; mix well.
    Pour into pan.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 45 to 50 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
    Remove from pan immediately.
    Cool 30 minutes.
    Serve warm or cold.
