Pecan Crisps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. box light or dark brown sugar
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 tsp. soda
    2 1/2 c. self-rising flour
    1 1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients well.
    Drop on ungreased cookie sheet with teaspoon.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
    Preheat oven before baking.
    This is one of my favorite recipes.
    I make them all the time for our church.
    Everyone loves them!
