Mother'S Banana Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    16 Tbsp. sugar (in pot)
    6 Tbsp. cornstarch
    4 c. milk
    3 eggs, beaten well
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix sugar and cornstarch in pot. Add milk and eggs. Cook until thick. Add vanilla. When cool, place one layer of vanilla wafers and bananas. Add pudding mix to cover. Add another layer of vanilla wafers and bananas. Cover with rest of pudding mixture. Cover with Cool Whip or may add a dip of vanilla ice cream to each bowl as served.
