Jan Hagel - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg yolk
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 c. flour
    egg white, mixed with a little water
    chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cream softened butter and sugar. Add egg yolk and mix.
    Sift flour and cinnamon and add a little at a
    time. Pat thin on a cookie sheet.
    Brush with unbeaten egg white to which a little water has been added.
    Sprinkle with chopped nuts.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
