J.B.'S Peanut Butter Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. sweet milk
    4 tsp. vanilla
    3 tsp. margarine
    4 to 5 heaping Tbsp. peanut butter (smooth or crunchy)
Preparation
    Cook sugar and milk together in heavy pan (Daddy uses a black iron skillet) until almost sticking.
    Remove from heat and quickly add remaining ingredients, mixing until smooth and well-blended. Pour onto a platter or shallow pan which has been well-greased with margarine.
    When cool and set, cut and serve.
    Keeps several days in airtight container.
