Fiesta Spread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
1 garlic clove, minced
1 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. cumin
2 Tbsp. catsup
1 (16 oz.) can refried beans
2 oz. Cheddar cheese
hot pepper sauce
crackers, corn chips, etc.
Preparation

Brown beef with next 3 ingredients; drain excess fat. Add next 4 ingredients. Mash in beans. Heat, stirring frequently. Add hot pepper seasoning to taste. Garnish with cheese, sliced black olives, lettuce, tomatoes, etc., if desired. Serve warm with crackers, chips or your favorite dippers. Makes approximately 3 1/2 cups.
