All-American Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter, softened
    1/2 c. shortening
    3 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    3 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. ground mace
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1/2 tsp. lemon extract
    confectioners sugar
    fresh strawberries or blueberries (for garnish)
Preparation
    Cream the butter and shortening. Gradually add sugar, beating well at medium speed of an electric mixer.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Combine flour, baking powder, salt and mace. Stir well. Add flour mixture to creamed mixture alternately with milk, beginning and ending with flour mixture. Mix just until blended after each addition.
    Stir in extracts. Pour batter into a greased and floured 12-cup Bundt or 10-inch tube pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 35 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
    Let cool completely on a wire rack.
    Dust with confectioners sugar. Garnish with strawberries or blueberries.
