The Best Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 cup vegetable oil or melted butter
    1 cup Sugar
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    2 eggs
    1/2 cup unsifted all-purpose flour
    1/3 cup cocoa powder
    1/4 teaspoon baking powder
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    1/2 cup nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Blend oil, sugar and vanilla in a mixing bowl. Add eggs; beat well. Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt; gradually add to egg mixture until well blended. Stir in nuts. Spread in greased 9-inch square pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes or until brownie begins to pull away from edges of pan. Cool in pan. Frost if desired cut into squares. 16 brownies.
