Ingredients

1 can sliced beets
water to beet juice to make 1 c.
1 c. cider vinegar
3/4 c. white sugar
1/2 tsp. whole cloves
Preparation

Mix all ingredients, except beets, in saucepan.
Bring to a boil; add beets.
Turn of heat.
Allow to stand overnight in refrigerator before serving.
