Empress Beef - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. oil
    1 large onion, sliced
    3 sticks celery, chopped
    2 carrots, sliced
    3 oz. sliced mushrooms
    5 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 lb. sirloin steak, cut into thin strips
    1/2 (10 oz.) pkg. French-style green beans
    1/2 c. coarsely chopped water chestnuts
    1/4 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Heat oil in skillet, add beef and salt.
    Stir and brown for about 5 minutes.
    Add onion, celery, beans, mushrooms, carrots and water chestnuts.
    Stir and cook on high heat for 2 to 3 minutes.
