Chinese Almond Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1/2 lb. butter or margarine
    1 c. ground almonds
    1 tsp. almond essence
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. vodka or gin
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add flour mixed with baking powder and beat.
    Slowly add nuts and flavorings.
    Chill in refrigerator for 1 hour.
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
