Ingredients

4 sq. (4 oz.) unsweetened chocolate or 4 (4 oz.) envelopes premelted unsweetened chocolate product
3 beaten eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. cooking oil
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 c. sifted powdered sugar
Preparation

If using squares of chocolate, in a small saucepan, melt chocolate squares over low heat, stirring often.
Remove from heat and let cool.
In a large mixing bowl, beat together eggs, sugar, cooking oil, vanilla and melted and cooled chocolate or premelted chocolate product with a wooden spoon.
In a medium mixing bowl, stir together flour and baking powder.
Gradually add to chocolate mixture, stirring with wooden spoon until well mixed.
Cover and chill in the refrigerator for 1 to 2 hours or until firm enough to handle.
