Apple Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 lb. apples (about 5)
2/3 to 1 c. sugar to taste
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 Tbsp. heavy cream
Preparation

Add half of the apples.
Sprinkle with sugar mixture.
Add remaining apples.
Moisten edge of pastry with water.
Press two crusts together.
Prick top with fork.
Brush with cream.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes.
The top browns quickly; cover loosely with foil.
