Aunt Thelma'S Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. peanut butter
    2/3 c. shortening
    2 c. brown sugar
    2 eggs
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 pkg. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Cream shortening, sugar, eggs, vanilla, hot water and peanut butter.
    Add dry ingredients which have been sifted together. Stir in nuts and 1/2 package chocolate chips.
    Pour in large greased pan.
    Sprinkle the remaining chips.
    Bake for 30 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven.
