Pea And Celery Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. butter
    5 to 6 stalks celery, chopped in pieces
    1 pkg. frozen English peas, thawed
    1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
    1 can water chestnuts, sliced
    1 can cream of mushroom or celery soup
    1/2 c. grated sharp cheese
Preparation
    Saute chopped onion in butter.
    Add chopped celery and saute a few minutes.
    Add thawed peas, mushrooms and sliced water chestnuts.
    Add soup and mix together.
    Turn into a 1 1/2-quart casserole.
    Sprinkle sharp cheese over top and bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
