Early Morning Toast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 slices bread
    6 eggs
    1/3 c. sugar
    2 c. buttermilk or eggnog
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 Tbsp. unsalted butter, melted
    Maple syrup
Preparation
    Arrange bread in a single layer in a 13x9x2 baking pan.
    In a medium bowl whisk eggs until blended.
    Whisk in sugar, eggnog or buttermilk, cinnamon and butter.
    Pour mixture over bread.
    Turn slices to coat.
    Cover with plastic wraps, refrigerate overnight. Preheat oven to 400\u00b0 F. Bake 10 minutes.
    Turn bread over and bake for 4 minutes or until golden brown in color.
    Serve with maple syrup.
