Wintergreen Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. wintergreen candies
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. margarine
    3 c. flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla
    4 egg whites
Preparation
    Dissolve candy in milk.
    Cream the sugar and margarine together.
    Add flour, baking powder, vanilla and candy mixture; mix well.
    Beat egg whites until stiff.
    Fold into batter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
    Frost when cool.
