    1 c. uncooked cream of wheat
    1 c. sifted flour
    1 heaping Tbsp. sugar (can be omitted)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. milk (plus 1 tsp. if needed)
    1/4 c. cooking oil
    1 egg, well beaten
    10 drops yellow food coloring
Preparation
    Stir gently; do not overbeat.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 until top is golden brown.
