Chicken And Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 fryer, cut into pieces
    1 medium onion
    2 ribs celery
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. baking powder
    1 Tbsp. Crisco
    1/4 c. broth (chicken)
    1 egg hard-boiled
Preparation
    Boil the chicken in water seasoned with onion, celery, salt and pepper until tender.
    Remove chicken from stock; bring stock to boil.
    Drop dumplings in; add hard-boiled egg.
    Cook 15 to 20 minutes.
    Remove skin and bones from chicken.
    Return to broth. Cook until dumplings are tender.
