Butterscotch Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    2 c. brown sugar
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. broken pecans
    1 c. flaked coconut (optional)
Preparation
    Melt butter over low heat.
    Blend in brown sugar.
    Cool and then blend in eggs.
    Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Stir in.
    Add vanilla, nuts and coconut.
    Spread in well-greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake 20 to 25 minutes until light touch leaves slight imprint.
    Cut into squares or bars while warm.
