Sweet-Sour Spareribs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 lb. spareribs (pork)
    1 c. lite shoyu
    1/2 c. water
    1 clove garlic, crushed
    1 small piece ginger or 1 tsp. ginger powder
    2/3 c. cider vinegar
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 small can pineapple chunks
Preparation
    Brown spareribs with garlic;
    drain fat.
    Add remaining ingredients;
    boil\tuntil tender.
    When tender, add cornstarch to thicken sauce.
    Add pineapple (this is optional).
