Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 medium size potatoes
    1/4 c. diced onion
    1 Tbsp. dried celery
    2 tsp. parsley
    3 strips bacon, precooked and broken into bits
    2 c. milk (whole or 2%)
    1 1/2 Tbsp. butter
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/2 c. corn*
    1/3 c. shredded carrot*
Preparation
    Combine scrubbed and diced potatoes, onion, celery and parsley in pot.
    Cover with water and cook until potatoes are done. Remove from heat.
    Add milk, crisp precooked bacon and butter. Return to heat for a few minutes.
    Do not boil.
    Remove.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
    Serves 4 to 6.
