Cheese Ring With Strawberry Preserves - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 (16 oz.) extra sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
1 (16 oz.) medium Cheddar cheese, shredded
8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 small onion, finely minced
1 tsp. red pepper
1 c. mayonnaise
1 c. chopped pecans (optional)
parsley sprigs
strawberry preserves

Preparation

Combine first seven ingredients and mix well.
Sprinkle 1/4 cup pecans in an oiled ring mold and press cheese mixture into mold.
Chill until firm.
