Swiss Steak(Serves 6) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. round steak, fairly thick
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. paprika
    2 onions, sliced
    1/4 c. oil
    1 green pepper, diced
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 bay leaf
    1 large can tomatoes
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
Preparation
    Mix flour, salt and paprika.
    Cut steak in pieces.
    Dredge in flour mix and fry in hot oil until golden.
    Remove pieces as they brown to a Dutch oven.
    When meat is all fried, stir remaining flour mix into the oil in pan.
    Stir to blend.
    Add tomatoes and stir.
    If too thick, add beef consomme.
    Sprinkle onions, celery and pepper over meat pieces in pan.
    Add the bay leaf.
    Add the Worcestershire sauce to the tomato mixture.
    Pour over steak in pan.
    Cover.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 to 375\u00b0 oven for 2 hours.
