Mama'S Spicy Baked Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. (2 1/2 c.) navy beans
1 Tbsp. salt
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
2 Tbsp. chopped onions
5 oz. salt pork or bacon
1 1/2 tsp. prepared mustard
1 tsp. A.1. sauce
1/2 tsp. Kitchen Bouquet
1/4 tsp. chili powder
1/2 c. catsup
Preparation

Cover beans with ample water and soak overnight.
Simmer over low heat 1 hour.
Mix remaining ingredients and stir into beans. Transfer mixture into bean pot.
Bury pork in beans.
Add boiling water to cover beans.
Cover with lid and bake in slow oven at 300\u00b0 for 6 hours.
During last hour, remove lid and allow beans to brown.
