Chocolate Gravy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 tsp. cocoa
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 stick margarine
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix cocoa and sugar; set aside.
    Melt margarine in heavy saucepan.
    Blend in flour while cooking, but do not let mixture brown.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir cocoa-sugar mixture into this, blending well.
    Gradually pour in milk, while stirring, add vanilla.
    When smooth, return to heat and cook for about 3 to 4 minutes, still stirring until mixture thickens somewhat.
    Remove from heat.
    Serve over hot biscuits, sweet rolls, etc.
    This is an old-time treat.
