Freezer French Toast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
    8 to 10 slices day old French bread, cut 3/4-inch thick
    melted butter or margarine
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Beat together eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla and nutmeg.
    Place bread on a jelly roll pan.
    Pour egg mixture over bread and let stand a few minutes; turn slices and let stand until absorbed. Place in freezer, uncovered, until firm; transfer to freezer bag and return to freezer.
