Navy Bean Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. mashed navy beans
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. whole milk
    4 egg yolks
    dash of nutmeg
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 stick butter or margarine
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Cook beans well; drain and mash through colander or food mill.
    Measure the mashed beans and add sugar and milk.
    Strain this mixture through a sieve.
    Add egg yolks, nutmeg, flour, butter and vanilla.
    Mix well and beat until very smooth; pour into 9-inch unbaked pie shell.
    Bake for 30 minutes or until firm.
