Asparagus Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. chicken stock
    2 c. asparagus, cooked
    2 c. asparagus water
    2 c. milk
    4 Tbsp. butter
    4 Tbsp. flour
    1 onion
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Cut the tips off the cooked asparagus and set aside.
    Combine the rest of the asparagus; cut in pieces, with the onion, chicken stock and asparagus water.
    Cook for 10 minutes.
    Strain this mixture by rubbing through a sieve.
    Melt the butter; stir in the flour and blend.
    Add the milk and seasonings to taste.
    Cook for a few minutes.
    Add the strained broth and asparagus tips.
    Cook for 5 minutes.
    Serve.
